Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Evaloo.
Danilo Arcano (“we”, “us”, or “the developer”), developer of the Evaloo app available on Google Play under the package name com.mbrc.evaloo, explains in this Privacy Policy how Evaloo accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares user information.
1. Who we are
Evaloo is developed and published by Danilo Arcano. For privacy questions, account requests, or data deletion requests, contact mbriac354@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Evaloo, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and account identifiers when you sign in with email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple.
- User content: photos and images you capture or upload for object scanning and valuation, plus related scan results and history associated with your account.
- Purchase and subscription data: product identifiers, purchase tokens/receipts, and subscription status processed through Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase to unlock Evaloo Pro features.
- App activity and diagnostics: app usage events, crash/diagnostic information, and analytics events used to improve reliability and product features.
- Device and technical data: device type, OS version, language/region settings, push notification tokens, and similar technical identifiers needed to operate the app.
- Advertising identifiers: if ads are shown in free experiences, advertising identifiers and related ad interaction data may be processed by our advertising partners.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage your Evaloo account and authenticate you securely.
- To provide object recognition, valuation estimates, scan history, PDF export, and related Pro features.
- To process and restore in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- To send transactional or service-related notifications (for example, important account or subscription updates), where enabled.
- To show ads in free experiences, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud/abuse.
- To analyze app performance, fix bugs, and improve Evaloo.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Permissions used by Evaloo
- Camera / photos: to scan items and upload images for analysis.
- Internet / network: to communicate with our backend services and third-party providers.
- Notifications: to deliver optional push notifications if you grant permission.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate Evaloo with trusted service providers acting on our behalf, including:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Cloud Messaging)
- Google Play / Apple App Store for account authentication (where used) and in-app purchases/subscriptions
- Google Mobile Ads for advertising in free experiences
- AI / processing providers used to analyze scanned images and generate item information and valuation estimates
These providers process data under their own privacy terms and only as needed to deliver the services we request. We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users and Evaloo.
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain account, scan, and subscription-related data for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
You may request deletion of your Evaloo account and associated personal data by using in-app account deletion (where available) or by emailing mbriac354@gmail.com. We will process verified requests within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements (for example, purchase records that must be kept for accounting/compliance).
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) when communicating with our services. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Children’s privacy
Evaloo is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International transfers
Evaloo is operated from Italy. Your information may be processed in other countries where our service providers operate (including the United States and EU). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the GDPR if you are in the EEA/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact mbriac354@gmail.com.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Evaloo after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
